I Thank You

I Thessalonians 5:18

Written and Composed by Marie Hutchinson

Performed by Ginnyree | White Dove Music

Inspired by the encouragement of I Thessalonians 5:18, I Thank You is a heartfelt song of gratitude, born from a deeply personal season of heartache, uncertainty, and shattered dreams. Written decades ago while the songwriter was in her mid-twenties, it reflects the life-changing faithfulness of God, who brought healing, hope, comfort, provision, and revealed His beautiful plan through the darkest days.

From answered prayers to saving grace through Jesus Christ, this song reminds us that even life’s deepest valleys can become reasons for thanksgiving as God lovingly guides us according to His perfect will by His love, mercy, and grace.

A beautiful reminder that a thankful heart discovers God’s faithfulness, even in life’s hardest seasons.
